[/vc_toggle][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_single_image image=”10170″ img_size=”full” image_style=”border”][vc_column_text]The “Mangimificio 3G” (feed mill 3G) of Giovanni and Giuseppe Grigi was created in 1952 in Bastia Umbra (PG), a little town of ancient origins and rural traditions, nowadays a very active agricultural, industrial and commercial center.

The 50’s mark a radical change in the animal breeding and production sector: moving from the family-run breeding farm, typical of the local farming culture, to intensive breeding, based on the modern techniques of zootechnics.

Mangimificio 3G will make a very strong point out of this transition, becoming a reference for breeders and at the same time developing great experience and skills that will allow it to reach high standards of quality and competitiveness.

In 1977 the company, by then well established in its own market, changes its name into Nuovo Molino d’Assisi.

In the early 2000’s, the current management, attentive to market evolutions and technological innovation, introduces one of the most modern cereal flaking plants in Italy.

The current range of products is the result of the company’s philosophy: authenticity, naturalness and healthiness. The no GMO, organic, GMO free or conventional raw material, cereals and pulses, are mostly sourced in Central Italy and are rigorously analyzed and controlled, starting from the harvest and so on for every stage of the production process.

The final result is a high quality, nutritious, and well-balanced product that is respectful of the ancient relation with the nature it comes from.

In 2009, the company wanted to add yet another piece to its productive capacity, by building a brand new pelleting plant at the forefront of the animal feed world, equipped with a ripener tank (cooking and sterilization of the cereal before pelletization).
Then, in 2010, the company introduced a new integrated bulk loading system that works entirely thanks to optic fibers and loading robots.

In may 2012 with this acquisition of the VALIGI brand and factory, the Grigi Group enters the animal feed sector with the ambition to take a leading position in the animal feed market.

From 2013, the group takes over the management of “Centro Zootecnico di Casalina “the zootechnical center of Casalina, Deruta (PG), with the aim of investing in the innovation of the dairy sector.

In 2014, the new cereal storage center in Loc. Polzella – Montefalco (PG) was inaugurated and the construction work of the Benedetti & Grigi wine cellar was started.
